Atheists and Agnostics seem to get their panties in an uproar over the first step:
You are powerless over your addiction
Well how this concept is processed is relative.
What the hell does that mean?
energy equals mass times the speed of light squared...?
Einstein said "time is an optical delusion"
IF
If you’re operating SOLELY by your ego, if your ego is the only part of you in charge…
Then the statement is factual, you are in fact powerless.
Our ego is, well let’s say it’s our left brain.
Our intuitive self is, for the sake of argument and expediency our right brain
Left is in charge of Doing (and this is the ONLY thing it knows)
Right is in charge of Being
From doing’s perspective being is a non-statement
Our ego is genetically incapable of being...
(OK it only recognizes being as a mental concept, the map is
NOT the terrain)
Now even though every spiritual tradition known to man speaks of the denigration of the ego… you’d go crazy without a healthy ego.
We’d be like Rain Man (…course I’m an excellent driver… Kmart sucks)
Ego is about predictability.
It can only function with a perceived starting point and a perceived ending point
Without a balance between our ego and intuitive self, we have disharmony.
Time is gods dirty trick.
Time likes to fool us into thinking that it is real.
the only time is real is NOW.
past and future are optical delusions.
when you were in your past- it was NOW
when you get to your future= it will be NOW
don't believe me?
do something yesterday... right now
try it the other way...
do something tomarrow...right now
Our Rational mind and Intuitive mind have to work
together like your cars clutch pedal and gas pedal
If you let out the clutch with out pressing on the
gas pedal at the same time...you'll stall
you wont go any where
The Subject Object Relation...
more coming, very soon..I promise
it's 3:51 am and I've got to go to sleep
