Hubris Part Duex

Hubris

On one of my other blogs, I put up the Wikopedia definition:
exaggerated pride or self-confidence, often resulting in fatal retribution.

The Nazi's had Hubris:
They thought the Brits were going to join them... You know the British Empire?

Henry Ford had Hubris: He bought a huge plantation in South America to plant rubber trees... Ford had his managers plant rubber trees just like they ran the mass production car factory- only problem was that rubber trees, in thier natural habitat, are highly susceptible to blight- ergo you only find rubber trees surviving not in clusters, but far apart from each other.

Your Ego thinks it IS you...& your Ego is Hubris Central

And, the smarter you are, the more difficult detachment and surrender is.
